بررسی میزان جابجایی سطح زمین ناشی از زمین لرزه با استفاده از تداخل‌سنجی راداری (مطالعه موردی :استان ایلام، گسل پیشانی کوهستان)

چکیده

One of the most significant effects of earthquakes is ground displacement, which is a major factor in causing financial and human losses. Dehloran County, located in the south of Ilam Province, experiences both minor and major earthquakes annually. Due to the presence of dams, oil fields, cities, and villages in this region, earthquakes can cause extensive damage. In this study, the "Radar Interferometry" method was used to calculate ground surface displacement. For this purpose, 10 C-band radar images from the Sentinel-1A satellite, taken before and after the earthquake, were used to determine the subsidence and uplift in the cities of Dehloran County, as well as the dam and other areas. To validate the accuracy of the ground displacement measurements, the coherence of interferometric pixels was assessed, and the results indicated high accuracy. The findings show that the northern areas of Dehloran County have experienced subsidence, while the southern areas have mostly undergone uplift. The maximum displacement in elevated areas for each studied earthquake ranged from 1 cm to -10 cm. In all three displacement maps, elevated regions primarily exhibited subsidence. The southern areas experienced less subsidence, ranging from -1 cm to -5 cm. The displacement for earthquakes with a magnitude above 4 in the studied area was measured in centimeters. The ground displacement in the cities of Dehloran County ranged from -1 cm to -6 cm. Even minor-magnitude earthquakes in this region can cause irreparable damage. To mitigate these damages, the findings of this study can be used to identify high-risk and low-risk areas, which can aid in urban planning, dam construction, and oil and gas projects to prevent and reduce losses
