Journal of Geography and Environmental Hazards is a bilingual scientific-research journal in Persian and English. This journal has been publishing the authors' articles since 2012 by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the participation of Isfahan, Tabriz, Shahid Beheshti, Zahedan and Hormizgan Universities.

Geography and Environmental Hazards has been launched due to the increasing trend of environmental hazards caused by global warming, population growth and industrial development, as well as the high degree of geographical risk in Iran. Journal of Geography and Environmental Hazards is the first scientific-research journal in Iran that highlights the important issue of environmental hazards and tries to get the results of research on geographical distribution, geographical causes, management and planning to reduce the effects of natural hazards and prevent occurrence. 

Persian authors who have articles in their own language must submit a comprehensive abstract in English. Authors must send the electronic version of the article in both word and pdf formats to one of the following addresses:
